I prayed Deuteronomy 31:7 over myself, our business: Bethlehem Blessing.org, my visual art, my fiction and nonfiction books, my screenplay, my song writing, and my singing. Deuteronomy 31:7 reads, “Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the presence of all the people of Israel, ‘Be determined and confident; you are the one who will lead these people to occupy the land that the Lord promised to their ancestors.’”

I prayed the above verse because I now understand what I will be doing as I walk the earth and do my work. I will be delivering the Lord’s words, and my feelings about him, to people in all of my writing, art, and singing.

I am not a preacher. I am a regular person who has stories to tell. In my stories, I show others how the word of God can help us in whatever we do

I want to share the situations I find myself in and the challenges I face as I navigate life and work. At times, things seem insurmountable, yet I succeed because I rely on Jesus. I do see that it may seem impossible to manage all that comes our way, but Jesus says all things are possible with him. And I will tell you I have seen and experienced his miracles. He has brought me from a place of despair and hopelessness to one where I enjoy living and can see beauty in everything.

I am not a person with visions of false hope. I currently have 8 adversarial forces that capture my attention as I work. I do not feel pity for myself; I look to the Bible to guide me on what to do when they surface.

I want everyone to feel that good things lie ahead and that there is reason to hope as they plan for the future. We do not need to give up. Jesus has us on this planet to walk with him. To take every step and do every action alongside him. He is here for us. We just have to believe.

I look forward to producing creativity for you. It is my pleasure to be here for you.

I thank you for reading.

I love you,

Lisa Brown
