Earlier today I sat counting up my money in my head. I figured on eating a plant-based diet not only so it may help me lose weight, but so I would spend less on meat, chicken, and fish.

Also, I considered I would have a lower heat bill if I dialed the furnace down to about 62 degrees. Another way to save that occurred to me was to buy clothes only at the thrift store.

With the price of gas so high now, I know if I remained close to home, I could save money at the pump.

So, as I relaxed into a new lifestyle of saving money I wondered if there was anything else I could do.

Just yesterday, I wrote a chapter in my memoir book about getting things with no money. Isaiah 55:1 reads, “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come buy wine and milk without money and without cost.” NIV

I prayed the above verse ass a payer over my situation with an apartment complex. They were charging me about $5,100.00 to break my lease, so I could move to a less expensive place. After praying I added a second prayer that included getting all of the money back not just the one part I had prayed for.

After having prayed and believed without doubting I got a call about the return of all of my money.

The worry, and anguish and the concern melted away like a bowl of orange sherbet sitting in the sun on a tropical beach. I felt like I was on that beach relaxing in a lounge chair under a canopy while turquoise waves splashed rhymical upon the shore. This is all because Jesus bestowed his grace upon me out of the goodness of his heart. He gave me grace, and mercy for recent hardships I have encountered.

Ephesians 2:8-9 reads, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And that not of yourselves ; it is a gift of God not of of works, lest anyone should boast.”NKJV

Thank you for reading.

I love you,
