Someone who evil touched, took it out on me. I would say at first, that maybe they couldn’t help it. However, almost at the same time they were able to smile, act kind, and seem in a normal realm. This gives me the idea that they can control themselves when they want to, or when someone else is watching.
So maybe I am a bit conflicted as to whether I should be praying for someone who was mean to me. Someone who manipulated me, and tried some other tactics that were anything but nice.
However, Jesus tells us in the Bible we are to pray for our enemies. Here’s the prayer. It’s a Bible verse.
Luke 10:19 reads, “Behold I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” NKJV
The above verse is a prayer for the evil-touched one. I suppose it matters how you feel as to what you do. But, the Lord, wants us all to avoid going to hell, and to have a chance to go to heaven.
It’s hard to function after people have hurt you, let alone do something productive. But, when we pray, it does help relieve anxiety, and it puts us in a more optimistic frame of mind. So, while we’re at it let’s say a prayer for ourselves too.
Ephesians 6:13 reads, “So put on God’s armor now! Then when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist the enemy’s attacks; and after fighting to the end, you will still hold your ground.” GNT
Ephesians 6:13 is a good prayer to pray day and night. I pray Ephesians 6:11-12 each morning and each night to ward off evil spirits.
