I have been in a season of problem after problem. No matter how hard I tried to move forward it just wasn’t happening. And even lately leading up to this very day, I have been fighting to remain positive.
When some of Jesus’ prophets let me know that everything was going to be different and better from here on out, I couldn’t believe it. I wondered if it were a joke or something bad. But, since I have been behaving myself and staying away from sinful actions or thoughts, I am coming to think I am in store for a beautiful rest of my life.
One of the prophets relayed the following Bible verse for those listening.
Hebrews 10:35 reads, “Do not lose your courage, then because it brings with it a great reward.” GNT
I am thinking that because what has been prophesized is about some new avenues of work for me, that this is right on the mark. I do have to have faith and be brave to do what it is that I want to do. These jobs are some that I have never done but have always wanted to do. And doing them does require learning a lot and preparing for them too.
Since it has been a while since I have done something new and different, I’ll admit it is a little scary. I am trying not to fear though. It says some form of the words, do not fear 365 times in the Bible. And I know that is because with Jesus we have nothing to fear, no matter what’s up. He will protect us and guide us along wherever we go.
Isaiah 45: 2 reads, “I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.” NKJV
So, no matter what type of adversity lies ahead, Jesus will take care of it even before we come upon it. And that does make me feel safe. It creates a feeling inside of me that’s ready to act, to forge forward, and to be confident.
I will have my green tea, meditate, and take several deep breaths and go for it. I don’t care if someone criticizes me, laughs at me, or makes fun of me. I have been in more challenging situations.
One time I was in a skyscraper building, being afraid of heights, I got nervous at about floor number ninety while on the elevator. You could see the boats below in the river looked like pin dots. I was going to say, somehow, I made it through the heights. But it wasn’t somehow…. It was with Jesus’ help. At the time when I was 17 years old, I did not know of Jesus, but he kept me safe anyway.
Thank you for reading.
I love you,
Lisa Brown
