When I read the Bible and see some of the miracles Jesus performed, I have to make sure I don’t think that he could only do those things when he walked the earth. He can do miracles now, too, in this day and age. The Bible is here to remind us of what he accomplishes when we pray, and even when we don’t ask.

I know, first of all, that if Jesus can give me a job that is so much fun, I will sit around incubating, thinking, and preparing to do it all of the time; it is a miracle. It is a job that is like swinging on the monkey bars at the playground, like floating on toys at the beach, and as entertaining as going to Disney World.

It’s not just the job he’s provided me with; when I think about how I felt without it and what I thought was ahead of me in life, it is amazing. I am 68 years old, I was a stay-at-home Mom who gave up her career to raise a child, and I had no hope of ever accomplishing a work goal.

Luke 8:53-55 reads, “They made fun of him, because they knew she was dead. But Jesus took her by the hand and called out, ‘Get up, child!’ Her life returned, and she got up at once, and Jesus ordered them to give her something to eat.” The Good News Translation Bible (GNT).

Since the Lord can raise the dead, and God the Father raised him from the dead, it is understandable that he can raise me out of an abandoned career, a slumber period in life, to one filled with golden opportunity. From what the Holy Spirit has communicated to me about where I am headed, I know all of my dreams are about to come true. Even the ones I was too afraid to dream.

Ephesians 3:20 reads, “To him who by means of his power working in us is able to do so much more than we can ever ask for or even think of.: The Good News Translation Bible (GNT).

Thank you for reading.

I love you,
